Wise Co. Sheriff’s Office searching for Knoxville man accused of stabbing victim

Police in Wise County, VA are looking for a suspect accused of stabbing a man.

The Wise County Sheriff’s Office reported that the alleged stabbing occurred in the East Stone Gap area of the county on Wednesday, and when officers arrived, the victim was found to have serious injuries, who has since been taken to Lonesome Pine hospital for treatment. Officers have obtained warrants for Correl Baker, 30, or “Iraq” of Knoxville, TN, who is accused in the case and faces charges of malicious wounding as well as stabbing in the commission of a felony.
