Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Injured In Crash While Responding To Emergency

Charges are pending after a Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy is injured in a crash while responding to an emergency call. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 76 year old John Mellon was stopped at a stop sign on Ripley Island Road when he pulled out in front of Greene County Sheriff’sDeputy David Love, who was responding to an emergency call on Highway 11E with his lights and sirens activated.
