Final Member Of Southwest Virginia Drug Trafficking Operation Sentenced
A final member of a methamphetamine trafficking organization that brought the drugs into southwest Virginia is sentenced to 14 years in prison. According to court documents James Sebastian, a member of a west coast into southwest Virginia drug operation received the sentence Tuesday in Abingdon’s U.S. District Court for his part in a large scale meth organization. In early 2017, Operation California Dreaming began investigating the trafficking of meth between Califormia , southwest Virginia and northeast Tennessee. As a result, in addition to Sebastians’ 14 year prison sentence, 28 others were also charged in connection with the undercover operation.
