Greeneville Middle School gym closing this summer to replace floor damaged by flood
Director of Schools Steve Starnes says the gymnasium at Greeneville Middle School will be closed for the summer to repair damages suffered a flooding incident in November.
Starnes said the chore was announced early to allow sporting organizations in the city that utilize the facility to make alternate plans. He noted that insurance funds will cover the cost of the $106,000 project.
The seven-week job will begin on June 1st.
