ETSU College of Nursing receives $121K for distance learning and telemedicine grant

ETSU’s College of Nursing has received a $121,000 federal grant for distance learning and telemedicine.

The grant, which was awarded to the university from the US Dept. of Agriculture Rural Development and Rural Utilities Service, will work to enhance clinical and educational opportunities for patients and students.

The grant will also go towards targeting STEM education through telehealth training for healthcare providers, as well as treatment for opioid and substance use disorder.

Additionally, the grant will be used to improve technology infrastructure across regional College of Nursing clinics.
