BTPD: One person shot, investigation ongoing following incident at apartment Monday morning

An investigation is ongoing following an early morning shooting in Bristol, TN.

Bristol, TN Police were called to an apartment on Ash Street just after 3:30 a.m. Monday, and found a male victim with a gunshot wound to his arm, as well as the alleged shooter inside the apartment.

Authorities say the two individuals knew each other, and witnesses say they were involved in a fight prior to the shooting. Both people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
