Emory and Henry College to hold graduation for Class of 2021 and 2020 in May

Emory and Henry College is planning a commencement ceremony for the class of 2021 and class of 2020.

The school announced plans for graduation events following new guidelines on outdoor graduation events released by Gov. Ralph Northam. Up to 1,500 people will be permitted to attend the college’s graduation at Fred Selfe Stadium with guests required to wear masks and social distance. The event is set for Saturday, May 8 at 10 a.m, and a live stream will be offered for those unable to attend.

Additional details about graduation is expected to be released in the coming weeks.
