Cumberland Plateau, LENOWISCO Health Districts Now Accepting Phase One C Residents

Beginning Monday, residents of the Cumberland Plateau and LENOWISCO Health Districts in Southwest Virginia who are in Phase 1c can begin registering and taking the COVID-19 vaccination. And health officials with the district say in order to ensure Phase 1c essential workers are contacted quickly for appointments, eligible individuals are being asked to pre-register for the vaccine by going to Vaccinate.Virginia.gov. Phase one c consists of essential worker categories include: energy, water, wastewater, and waste removal housing and construction and communication, media, legal services, public safety and other public health workers. The health districts’ also tell us they will continue to offer appointments to eligible individuals in Phase one a and one b if they have not been vaccinated yet.
