Marion Police: Northern Virginia homicide suspect may be traveling through Southwest VA
Local law enforcement is warning residents to be on the lookout for a Northern Virginia homicide suspect that may be traveling through the Southwest portion of the state.
The Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Martin Martinez, 30, one of two individuals accused of shooting and killing a 24-year old man last week after the victim interrupted a burglary at his home. The second suspect, Jury Beatrice Guerra, 28, was arrested on Sunday and charged with felony murder and conspiracy to commit burglary.
The Marion, Virginia Police Department issued the warning in a Facebook post that Martinez could be traveling through Southwest Virginia. He is a white male with brown hair and brown eyes, stands 5’9” tall, and weighs approximately 170 pounds. Anyone with information on his location should call 911 immediately.
