Shrinking gasoline supplies continue in North Carolina
Drivers in neighboring North Carolina are entering dangerous territory in terms of remaining gasoline stations with adequate supplies.
GasBuddy reported Thursday morning that 68 percent of state gas pumps are empty—levels likely not seen since the energy crisis of the 1970s.
Tennessee’s level of gas stations running low on just regular blends has jumped to 34 percent in 24 hours while 54 percent of stations in Virginia have covered up pumps because of depleted inventory.
