Bays Mountain Park presenting ‘Kids to Parks Day’ on Saturday

Bays Mountain Park in Kingsport is hosting the 10th Annual Kids to Parks Day on Saturday.

It’s a yearly nationwide event that targets school-age children and their parents with an invitation to explore preserves of natural spaces in the US including the 3,500-acre park of the Model City that is one of the top 50 attractions in the state in terms of yearly visitors.

Bays Mountain staff are planning several hands-on activities for the day’s events that are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
