Kingsport Greenbelt to partially close starting May 19

A portion of the Kingsport Greenbelt will be closed for the next week starting Wednesday.

The City of Kingsport said Monday that starting at 7 a.m., the Greenbelt will close from the Trailhead Parking lot adjacent to the Scott Adams Memorial Skate Park that runs along the back of Cloud Park to the area of the Greenbelt adjacent to Ash Street.

The closure will last each weekday until 6 p.m., while the Greenbelt will be completely open during the weekend.
