Greeneville man charged, injured in Wednesday crash with tractor-trailer
A Wednesday afternoon crash in Greeneville involving a semi has left a man injured and facing charges.
Tennessee Highway Patrol reports the wreck happened at the intersection of Highway 11E at Hal Henard Road just before 2:30 p.m. Christian Johnson, 18, of Greeneville, was driving a Honda Civic when troopers say he failed to yield to a tractor-trailer, and was struck in the side.
Johnson was injured but his condition was not listed in the report. He is charged with driving without a license and violating Tennessee’s due care law.
