One dead, one injured following fight and shooting at Morristown apartment complex
One person is dead and another injured following an altercation and shooting incident in Morristown Monday evening.
A report from the city says the initial call from eyewitnesses reported two shootings within minutes of each other. Preliminary information from police says the incidents took place at the same location—an apartment complex at 2200 Morningside Drive.
One victim, Luis Gaona, 22, left that area then called for medical help at a home on McGee Avenue. He is currently being treated at an area hospital.
HJ Roberts, 19, was the other victim. He later died from his injuries.
No charges have been filed in the case at present and the investigation continues.
