Buchanan County among stops on Virginia governor’s race debate tour

Buchanan County will be one of the five debate locations that will host Democratic Terry McAuliffe and Republican Glenn Youngkin.

Officials at the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy have confirmed the event for a date yet to be determined. The news came as both candidates agreed to the series on Tuesday.

The two will square off first in Hot Springs at an event hosted by the Virginia Bar Association on July 25. Other stops include George Mason University, Richmond, and Norfolk State University in Hampton Roads.
