Kingsport author pledges $25,000 reward to help find Summer Wells

A local author has offered a $25,000 reward for information that will lead to the location or recovery of missing Hawkins County girl Summer Wells.

Writer David Garrahan sent the check to the Kingsport Times-News publication and Hawkins County Sheriff Ronnie Lawson says he plans to make sure the reward contribution is properly managed.

There’s been no trace of Summer since her parents reported her missing from her home outside of Rogersville a week ago.
