Elizabethton hosting “Firefly 5K”

The city of Elizabethton is hosting their first annual “Firefly 5k” run or walk to support downtown revitalization. You can bring the whole family as strollers and dogs on leashes are welcome. The run takes place during a “First Friday Celebration”, so participants can listen to live music as they run or walk. There will be plenty of art activities and food to enjoy as well.

This “Firefly 5k” kicks off July 2nd at 7:30 PM. Don’t wait to sign up because early bird registration is only $25 and ends on June 27th. You can find the registration link on the Facebook event page.
