Rodeo in Bristol after community and organizers reach compromise

After reaching a compromise between neighbors and organizers, a series of rodeo events are taking place in the valley outside of Bristol.

Earlier this year, a local rodeo company had difficulty developing the events when residents in the Benhams community opposed the arrival of the rodeo. Dusty conditions and lowering property values are two main reasons the locals cited being against the rodeo arena’s construction.

Everybody came to an agreement, however, as the rodeo takes place this weekend.
