UPDATE: Bristol, Tennessee woman charged in shooting at Virginia apartment complex

A Bristol, Tennessee woman is charged in connection to a shooting that took place last week at an apartment complex.

A report from the Bristol, Virginia Police Department says Breanna Marie Fleenor, 30, is charged with shooting with intent to maim and a convicted felon weapon violation.

Just before 1 a.m. on June 24th, investigators said Fleenor approached the victim, Ronald Butler, 39, who was sitting in his parked car on Eastridge Drive and confronted him over a previous argument.

The report said Fleenor fired her gun into the car striking Butler in the shoulder and chin.

Fleenor was taken into custody Tuesday in a separate investigation.
