Johnson City Traffic Stop Leads To Additional Drug Charges For Sevierville Man
A Sevierville, Tennessee man is jailed after a routine traffic stop for speeding turns into several charges being filed against the man. Johnson City Police stopped Daryl Higdon of Sevierville following an attempted traffic stop for speeding. Higdon failed to stop for police until he was detained by a red light and other traffic. After a brief investigation, officers discovered Higdon was in possession of a controlled substance, simple possession of schedule six drugs, no driver’s license and finally speeding, Higdon was scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County Tennessee General Sessions Court and was being housed at the county detention center on a 12 thousand dollar bond.
