Elizabethton Parks and Rec hosting Art in the Park

Elizabethton Parks and Rec is hosting an Art in the Park event every third Sunday of each month. This event hopes to promote children’s literacy and creativity. Families can enjoy inflatables and create art that ranges from music to visual and literary art. This event is free and open to the public. The first 100 kids to attend will enjoy a free snow cone from Koana Ice.

Art in the Park takes place this Sunday at Douglas Community Park in Elizabethton. Festivities kick off at 2 PM.
