Remotely Operated Vehicle, Underwater Competition Concludes At ETSU
A Marine Advanced Technology Education, remotely operating vehicle world competition comes to a close Saturday at East Tennessee State University. The school is hosting this years world championships. The event is composed of over thirty student teams from across the globe. The teams compete by designing and building original submarine robotic vehicles that can be used to perform underwater tasks. This is the first year ETSU has competed in the competition. The teams have gone head to head using their remotely operated vehicle underwater to perform certain tasks.
