Governor Lee says Tennessee is ready to push back on any Biden administration COVID restrictions
With Tennessee identified as a COVID hot spot, some analysts are predicting another round of federal mitigation restrictions possibly being reenacted if infection rates do not drop.
Appearing on The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show on SuperTalk, Governor Bill Lee says he is not concerned about any directives from the Biden administration when it comes to keeping residents safe.
“We will push back and we will talk back,” Lee told the show hosts. “When they tell us what to do, we will tell them what we’re going to do. …States don’t comply because they don’t have to constitutionally and I’m not scared of that or worried about it. I’m just prepared for it.”
