Railroad Rumble football game at ETSU this weekend

One of the biggest high school football games of the season happens this weekend at ETSU’s William B. Greene Stadium. The Science Hill Hilltoppers and the Elizabethton Cyclones compete in what they call the Railroad Rumble game. The Railroad Rumble is a new name for the long-standing rivalry between Science Hill and Elizabethton’s football teams. Organizers chose this name to symbolize the historical Tweetsie Railroad, which connected Elizabethton and Johnson City. This game kicks off at ETSU’s football stadium on Friday night at 7.
