One Person Remains Missing In Buchanan County Floods

As of Tuesday night, one person remains missing in the Hurley Community of Buchanan County, Virginia after devastating flash floods ripped through the small southwest Virginia community Monday afternoon. Sharon Thornsbury with the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office says an earlier report of four people missing has been reduced to one. Buchanan County and the Commonwealth of Virginia have declared a State of Emergency in the Hurley community.
