Sullivan Investigators Probing Near Drowning Incident On South Holston Lake

Sullivan County Sheriff’s Investigators are looking into a near drowning incident that occurred Sunday at Painter Creek Marina in Bristol, Tennessee. The sheriff’s office received the call Sunday afternoon around 4:30, that a person was located in the lake near the marina and was not breathing. On Monday, Sullivan County Sheriff’s Public Information Officer Andy Seabolt says the initial information provided to the sheriff’s office was inaccurate and that investigators are probing a near drowning that occurred near Painter Creek Marina on South Holston Lake.
