Tanasi Arts and Heritage Center hosting free blacksmithing demonstration in Unicoi

The Tanasi Arts and Heritage Center is hosting a Blacksmithing demonstration in Unicoi next week. Master Blacksmith, Robin Lynch, is set to provide a run-through of traditional blacksmithing, which involves working with metal and a hot fire to craft items such as tools and weapons. This event is the first of 17 that will be held over the next year under an “Arts Build Communities” grant, awarded to the center by the TN Arts Commission. This demonstration is free and open to the public. It takes place at the Town of Unicoi Visitor’s Center on Monday at 6 PM.
