Bays Mountain Fall Festival back in celebration of park’s 50th Anniversary
Bays Mountain Park and Planetarium is celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year. To celebrate this occasion, the park is bringing back their popular Fall Festival. Park Manager, Rob Cole, says, “Some may remember the fall festivals that Bays used to host from the 70s through the early 90s.” He goes on to say they are happy to bring this event back for their 50th year in operation. Park officials say the Fall Festival will feature a fun-filled day that is free with park admission. Live music from a number of artists happens all day at the amphitheater. Children’s activities include pumpkin painting, airbrush tattoos, and more. A cake walk happens where attendees can win baked goods donated by local bakeries. All of this happens at the Bays Mountain Fall Festival on October 9th.
