Man Arrested, One Injured After Bizarre Traffic Accident In Johnson City
A Johnson City, Tennessee man is scheduled for arraignment after a bizarre scene Thursday when Anthony James Bray, ran a red light at the intersection of W State of Franklin and Buffalo Street. That caused a three car crash and injured one victim who was transported to a hospital. Bray, exited the vehicle, armed with a shotgun and attempted to flee on foot. A civilian confronted Bray, who then pointed the shotgun at the bystander on two separate occasions. The bystander was able to disarm Bray just before police arrived. A quick search by K9 units revealed drugs were in Bray’s vehicle. He is being held without bond in the Washington County Tennessee Detention Center on Aggravated Assault, Felony Possession of a Firearm and DUI, leaving the scene and drug possession charges.
