Temporary lane closures on Court Street in Abingdon on Oct. 27 & 29

Abingdon officials say a temporary closure of Court Street is happening on Wednesday and Friday this week. The Northbound lane on Court Street to Plumb Alley will have intermittent closures to vehicle traffic from 9 AM to 11 AM on these days. Work is expected to be complete by Friday at 11 AM, when all traffic will return to normal. All motorized and pedestrian traffic should use caution in this area. Abingdon officials say access to the Washington County Courthouse and surrounding businesses will still be available.
