Despite Logistics Constraints, Higher Costs, Eastman Reports 28 Percent Increase In Revenues

On Thursday Eastman Chemical Company in Kingsport announced the sale of its Additives and Functional Products Division to a London Based chemical company for one billion dollars. On Friday, the huge global, specialty materials company says despite logistics constraints and higher costs during the third quarter, Eastman has been able to offset those costs and reported third quarter earnings remained resilient. Eastman employs approximately 14 thousand five hundred people around the world and Eastman had more than eight billion dollars in revenues with Third quarter sales revenue increasing 28 percent from 2020 figures.
