Kingsport Detectives Probing Early Monday Morning Situation In Downtown Neighborhood

Kingsport Police Detectives are investigating an undisclosed situation that occurred around midnight or early Monday morning at a residence in the 900 block of Dale Street. WXBQ news was on the scene early Monday morning around one thirty, as detectives blocked a section of Dale Street to through traffic. Investigators were combing the area for what looked like evidence to a crime scene. Kingsport Police would not comment on the situation and referred our newsroom to the Department’s Public Information Officer, who was unavailable for comment. We are continuing to work to gather new information on this investigation in Kingsport.
