Tennessee Set To Receive More Than Three Billion In Federal Relief Funds
Local government officials will soon learn if their municipality will receive a portion of more than three billion dollars designed to help the state address its critical needs with water quality infrastructure improvements. Tennessee is set to receive three point seven billion dollars in American Rescue Plan funds from the Federal Government. Tennessee Governor Bill Lee is dedicating more than one point three billion dollars of those funds to provide water quality improvement projects across the Volunteer State. The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation is tasked with administering the program.
