New Hampshire man dead following fatal crash in Pulaski County

A man from New Hampshire is dead after a fatal wreck in Pulaski County, Virginia. Virginia State Police are investigating this single-vehicle wreck that happened January 31st on an Interstate 81 exit ramp. According to a police report, 74-year-old Gerald Kinney was traveling South on I-81 when he took Exit 94, ran off the side of the exit ramp and struck a tree.

Kinney was transported to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on February 3rd. VSP says they believe speed to be a factor in the wreck, and Kinney was wearing a seatbelt. This crash remains under investigation.
