Youngkin calls lawmakers back to Richmond, unleashes media blitz for priorities
Governor Glenn Youngkin is doubling down with General Assembly members to get a done deal on a two-year budget left undone following two months of work in Richmond.
Today, I am calling back lawmakers to Richmond to finish their work. Between high gas prices and rising inflation, Virginians are more squeezed than everĀ and the General Assembly can deliver much needed tax relief to struggling Virginia families.

That incentive came with a media TV blitz across the commonwealth on Wednesday with Youngkin continuing to push the grocery tax cut and giving residents a tax surplus refund.
Youngkin has ordered senators and House members back to the capital for budget work beginning April 4th.
