Rogersville Woman, Dragged From Burning Home, Six Injured
Six people were injured, including a 76 year old Rogersville woman who had to be dragged from a burning home Saturday night. According to the HCSD, officers were dispatched to 107 Knights 2 in Rogersville and discovered the home fully engulfed in flames, along with a camper. 49 year old Rebecca Armstrong, who was injured in the fire was helping everybody else get out of the home, including Lawson, who was bedridden. Armstrong says 66 year old Johnny Lawson was burning trash in barrels behind the home, and the wind blew one of the burning trash barrels over, quickly spreading to the home and a camper. Two other vehicles were also heavily damaged. 62 year old Edith Winstead and 39 year old William Billy Winstead, were living in the trailer and were also injured. The investigation is open and the extent of injuries is not known at this time.
