Johnson City man told victim “If you don’t let me drive, I’ll kill you” while holding knife
A Johnson City man was arrested for domestic assault after police responded to the McDonald’s on West Market Street Saturday night. According to a police report, Jackie Dickens, 31, threatened the victim, who was driving, with a knife; stating that he would kill her if she didn’t let him drive.
The victim told police he then grabbed the steering wheel, trying to send the car into oncoming traffic. The victim pulled over at the McDonald’s, and once deputies arrived and searched the car, a small bag of meth was found under Dickens’ seat. Jackie Dickens was arrested on a $20,000 bond.
