Improper Motorcycle Registration Leads To Hawkins Drug Bust

A violation for not having a motorcycle endorsement on license is costing a Hawkins County man much more, following his arrest on methamphetamine drug charges. Suspect, Bobby William Trent, already under investigation by the Hawkins County Narcotics Unit was pulled over when officers noticed Trent, driving a motorcycle, which he didn’t have proper registration for. Following a search of Trent and his motorcycle officers discovered more than an ounce of the illegal drug in addition to various drug paraphernalia. Trent was arrested, the motorcycle and drugs were seized by authorities.
