Greene County educators considering holding vocational classes on campus
The Greene County, Tennessee Commission has voted to endorse a study that would examine relocating vocational education students for those classes at respective schools.
The resolution authorizes the Board of Education to complete the study based on a drop in interest from students, time away from activities and friends due to travel to the current school, and the City of Greeneville’s demands for ultimate authority over the technical school operations.
The item noted that 60 percent of operational funding and student body come from Greene County.
