Greeneville man arrested for public intoxication soon after being discharged from hospital
A Greeneville man was arrested for public intoxication shortly after being discharged from a local hospital. A report from police says officers responded to Greeneville Community Hospital, where a security guard told them suspect Larry Arrington, 38, had been discharged from the hospital, left the property, then returned shortly after—stating people were following him and trying to kill him.
When deputies made contact with Arrington, he was unsteady on his feet and talking incoherently. The report says Arrington admitted to using meth that day, and he was placed under arrest for his and the public’s safety.
