Doe River Gorge announces $5 million Christmas attraction in the works

Officials with Doe River Gorge in Hampton say plans are in the works for a new $5 million project called the Christmas Train. Beginning in November of 2023, Doe River Gorge will transform into a winter wonderland for the holiday season, with its main attraction being two steam train locomotives.

In addition to the train, families can enjoy campfires, great food, carolers, and lots of Christmas photo ops. This holiday attraction is set to begin at Doe River Gorge next year.
