Search for Washington County man to mark 3 years this month

Later this month, it will be three years since the last sighting of Washington County, Tennessee resident 38-year-old Jonathon Ellis.

Investigators got several leads from inmates on Ellis’ possible whereabouts when his disappearance was first reported on May 24 of that year but those insights lead nowhere.

Sheriff Keith Sexton said the trail has gone cold again following recent tips on Ellis including a lead that resulted in a K9 tracker being deployed with no success.

Ellis is described as a white male standing 6 feet 1 inch tall with tattoos on his left calf and both arms.
