THP Speed Patrols In Place Through Tuesday Morning, Effort To Reduce Crashes
A report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol says ten people were killed on Memorial Day last year, and the agency has been beefing up patrols during the long Holiday weekend to make sure that doesn’t occur again. The THP says high saturation patrols are continuing in an effort to reduce speeding and crashes. The report also states 78 DUI arrests were made last year, along with 743 seat belt tickets. The patrols will be in place until Tuesday, May 31 at six am.
