Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office Making Progress Tracking Unaccounted Flooding Victims

The current/temporary lack of call service and power along with flooded roads have made it difficult for affected residents in flood stricken Buchanan County to contact loved ones. But Buchanan County Sheriff John C. McClanahan says his department is making progress, tracking down more than 40 individuals still unaccounted for. McClanahan is encouraging people to call 1-833-748-1424 to report someone who is still unaccounted for due to the flooding so those names can be added to the search list. McClahanan says an estimated one hundred to 150 residences have been flooded or washed away. The number again to call is 1-833-748-1424.
