Two Hawkins County Sex Offenders Arrested During Compliance Checks

Two sex offenders in Hawkins County are arrested following a sex registry compliance check by local authorities and the TBI. The bureau says around 50 sex offenders were visited during the operation. The checks were conducted by the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office, the TBI Sex Offender Registry Unit and the United States Marshals Service. The names of the two offenders were not listed in the TBI report of the operation which lasted two days. Out of 48 sex offenders visited 45 were said to be in compliance.
