Sullivan Commissioners Accept Lakeway Christian Bid For Former Colonial Heights Middle School

Lakeway Christian Schools located in the Tri Cities is the new owner of the former Colonial Heights Middle School after Sullivan County county commissioners on Thursday night gave their approval to Lakeway’s two point three million dollar bid. Lakeway outbid Kingsport City School’s bid by 25 thousand dollars that will allow them to enter a purchase agreement with Sullivan County. Lakeway plans to use the former middle school for expansion purposes and ultimately will become an elementary school for the system.
