WCTN Inmate Housed For Second Degree Murder, Now Facing Attempted First Degree Murder Following Jail Fight
An inmate already charged with second degree murder, housed in the Washington County Tennessee Detention Center is scheduled for arraignment Monday on attempted first degree murder charges following a fight. 34 year old Billy Joe Anderson, according to investigators hid in a confined space and then assaulted the other inmate with contraband that was made into a weapon. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition. Anderson is being held on a one hundred thousand dollars bond.
