BVCC To Hear Resolution Placing Restrictions And Possible Ban Of Abortion Clinics In City
The Bristol Virginia City Council will discuss and possibly vote on a resolution that will allow an abortion clinic that located from Bristol, Tennessee into Bristol, Virginia to exist with certain restrictions. Bristol Women’s Health, which offers abortions moved across the state line when Tennessee’s ban on abortion recently went into effect. The resolution would allow the clinic to remain open in Bristol, Virginia but would prohibit the clinic from changing locations or reconstructing its current building. The Family Foundation of Virginia helped write the resolution and plans to rally before Tuesday evenings meeting at six pm.
