Local Judge Seeking State Supreme Court Justice In Tennessee

A local judge and Chancellor of Tennessee’s First Judicial District in East Tennessee wants to be the next Tennessee Supreme Court Justice. Judge John Rambo is now one of five candidates seeking the upcoming vacancy with the announcement of Justice Sharon Lee’s retirement in August. Three candidates will be forwarded to Governor Lee for his review, following a Council for Judicial Appointments meeting in January.
