Bill In Tennessee Legislature If Approved Would Allow 18 Year Old’s To Carry Handguns
If a bill in the Tennessee General Assembly passes as introduced 18 year old’s in the Volunteer State would be allowed to carry handguns. Current law allows Tennesseans to carry a handgun without a permit if they are 21years or older or if they are 18 or older and have been honorably discharged from the military or are on active duty. If passed, the legislation would remove the military requirements for 18-20 year old’s, allowing them to carry in public.
